It’s is a unique, comprehensive, and integrated statewide system designed to address the need for early developmental and/or behavioral concerns. Then it connects you to info, resources & developmental services to enhance the health, behavior, learning & development for your child.
How Can Early Detection Help?
Help Me Grow addresses this by building collaboration among community programs, providing a centralized access point for information and referral, promoting surveillance and screenings, as well as educating and informing the community.
Help Me Grow supports families, child health care, early care and education, and human service providers. You can use Help Me Grow to identify early signs of developmental or behavioral concerns and the available community resources to address your needs.
Without Help Me Grow, this sensitive period of opportunity may be missed due to untimely assessments or difficulty in finding the resources you need.

You can also complete this developmental questionnaire for your child. The 211 HelpLine is an affiliate Help Me Grow program available in Florida to provide developmental monitoring for children birth to age 5 1/2.
Skills such as talking, moving, playing and learning are developmental milestones. These milestones are important as your child learns about the world and starts to learn.
