Local Mom Scoop and Local Kid Scoop were hosted experience the Brightline Select Service from West Palm Beach to Miami.

We’ve traveled by plane, car, and boat, but this was the first time traveling on the Brightline train for my kids. My girls and I took the train from West Palm Beach to the Brightline Fort Lauderdale Station.
I’ve taken the Brightline to Fort Lauderdale before and spent the day exploring, but this day was about the kids and the fun experience they had traveling on the Brightline Select Service.
KIDS RIDE FREE FROM NOW- SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2019
1.THE BRIGHTLINE KIDS AREA
If you have little ones who need to get some energy out before entering the Brightline Select Lounge, the Brightline Kids Play Area is the perfect place to stop. This area is opened to all children no matter what ticket you have. There are foam blocks to build and create while you wait for the train.
2. THE BRIGHTLINE SELECT LOUNGE
The Brightline Select Lounge is a private area that you can enter as long as you have a Brightline Select ticket. In the mornings, they offer pastries, Luna bars, coffee, juice, beer, and wine. There are private nooks for meetings or when you need to get some work done. Charging areas with USB ports are available as well.
In the afternoon, the lounge features chips, Luna Bars along with bottled water, soda, beer, and wine.
3. RESERVED SEATING
I love that there are assigned seats for your train ride. They offer side by side seats or tables seating with retractable trays. USB ports and plugs outlets are available between seats for charging phones and working on laptops.
Little ones under the age of 2 may ride in your lap aboard Brightline for FREE. Advance notice required—be sure to tell us by adding this Special Request to your guest information when booking rides.
4. SNACKS AND BEVERAGES ARE COMPLIMENTARY
Complimentary snacks and beverages are available with a Brightline Select ticket. During your Brightline ride, a host will come and offer chips, Luna Bars and gummy bears. Bottled waters, sodas and coffee are available along with adult beverages like Prosecco.
5. THE BATHROOM
You have to check out the bathroom. Most of it is sensor-driven. With touchless faucets and hand dryers, it’s fun inside for the entire family. We may have had a quick dance party, but wanted to get back to our seats for safety.
I was happy to see a built-in changing area for children as well as hooks for bags and coats.
Brightline is the way to travel.
Thank you to Brightline for inviting Local Mom Scoop and Local Kid Scoop to ride the Select Service from West Palm Beach To Fort Lauderdale. We had an amazing day and one to check off their bucket list.
