The kids are back in school. Your extended family has gone away. Hopefully, the Christmas Tree is down. Now what?
It’s time to get back on a schedule.
How do you do that when you were possibly struggling before?
It’s all about planning and scheduling your month, week and day.
Here Are 5 Things That Will Help You Stay Organized This Year
I love technology with the best of them, but my eyes need to see the whole picture. Sometimes looking at the entire month on paper is just easier than on my computer screen. The Day Designer planner has saved my sanity and is really getting me organized. It comes in a mini version (perfect for a tote bag) or a Flagship Style which I purchased. You can see all of the styles here.
Have you ever woken up with your day planned in your head? Then you can’t remember what you had planned because you answered a call, text or replied to an email. Now you don’t know where to start your day.
When you time block, you block out chunks of time in your calendar to get things done and stay focused. It’s helped me tremendously with my blogging, completing errends and keeping up with my families schedule.
I started using the Cozi app last year after my husband kept calling me right as I was walking into a doctor’s appointment, a birthday party, or a brand meeting. I truly needed an assistant and this app was hired. I love this app because you can color code everyone in your family. The schedule is all in one place. You can sync a Google Calendar into this which is great.
You can download it on your kids iPad and tell them to check when the trip to Disney will be, so they’ll stop asking and driving you insane. It’s a mother’s dream!!
Shipt is a food delivery shopping service that I started using a few years ago. They make grocery shopping fast, simple, and convenient. Download the app or do it on your laptop. Look in your fridge and make your shopping list (which will be saved for next time). Select a time for delivery and get your delivery in as soon as one hour after you order.
This has saved me when my kids were sick , when I couldn’t get to the store or when I when we ran out of bread, milk and lunch meat.

I get tired of grabbing an iPad or tablet that is dead! This seriously drives me insane. We also had things charging all over the house and could never find one. I couldn’t stand looking for cords, chargers, and outlets all the time, so I designed my own with the help of Office Depot.
The See Jane Work collection is what I’m using for my new office (just waiting on my desk to be shipped). I came up with this idea after looking at bad reviews of other products that were made specifically for charging stations. This desktop sorter was sturdy enough to hold 4 iPads. Now my family knows where they are and have stopped yelling for me to look for one. Here are a few other styles that might work if you don’t like this color.
I also have the Belkin SurgePlus 6-Outlet Wall Mount Surge Protector with Dual USB Charging Ports to plug all my cords into.
