Back-To-School is the topic we are all currently tackling. While you’re out shopping for supplies off the classroom list, one thing that will not be on there but should be in every home…essential oils.
Flying critters, the kind that make your head itch. Disease transferring bugs, the kind we are all hiding in our homes from. Basic daily immunity boosters, alternatives for better focus and memory retention, and so much more.
This can be just as scary as that first day of school, but that is what oil educators or enthusiasts as I like to call them, can do for you.
Chances are you have a friend who is using essential oils. You may know someone closely connected who offers mentorship, recipe tips and tricks, and informational, as well as educational classes on their products.
The essential oil company I work closely with is Young Living which is the number one essential oil company in the world.
Here are 4 Back-To-School Tips To Keep You Healthy.
Lice actually don’t care what kind of hair you have, they care about your blood type. When you use essential oils in the proper combination, they enter your blood stream and you stand a greater chance against these pesky bugs.
2. Fight the Bugs.
Another great option is a Young Living proprietary blend called Purification which is excellent against ALL bugs.
Mosquito protection is at the top of all back to school lists. Apply Purification, Citronella, and Peppermint directly to the bottoms of your feet or a dab on wrists, neck, and ankles can repel most bugs and especially mosquitoes.
3. Soothe and Calm.
Young Living has an entire line of oils dedicated to ages 2 and up. They are pre-blended and ready to apply. Kidscents are a mom’s best friend.
Owie: #soothe all the hurting things
Snifflease: #breathe through all the boogies
TummyGize: #digest and ease the bellyaches
GeneYus: #think and get your learn on
Sleepize: #sleep. Period.
There will be scratched knees, fat lips, occasional meltdowns, and battles over getting out of bed in the morning or back into bed at night. Oils to the rescue.
4. Take Care of You.
Let’s not forget parent’s and teachers. They need support too. I’ve seen your posts about crying as you send your babes out the door after you snap that “first day of school” picture.
Breathe Again: Sometimes we are running around and need to stop for a deep breath. But then you realize you just can…not…breathe. Weather, seasonal, whatever it is this blend is perfect for promoting healthy respiration. I use it before the gym, mid-day when I’m out among polluted air, or at night to settle my breathing before bed. This is great if you know someone who snores!
Tranquil: This blend is highly regarded for calming and relaxing properties. If you need help easing tension and anxiety, balancing the body, or anything physical and emotional… roll this on. I love to use this during meltdown city with my children…you’ve been there.
Stress Away Roll-On: Do you know that your immune system is weakened by stress? We can not avoid all stress but we can assist to balance our everyday tensions and live a healthier and happier life. Managing stress? Yes, please! I keep one in my purse at all times. If you’re thinking of gifting something to a teacher at the beginning of the year…this is one to make sure you grab!
