Local Mom Scoop was hosted by Beaches Turks and Caicos and Social Media On The Sand. All opinions are 100% my own.

Are you in need of the perfect Beach Getaway?
What if it was all-inclusive meaning, once you got there you didn’t have to worry about tipping or paying for anything else.
My family just took a trip to Beaches Sandals Resort in Turks and Caicos. Local Mom Scoop attended Social Media On The Sand conference for bloggers. It was a magical trip and I can’t wait to share all the scoop, so you can plan your trip.
Don’t forget to check out my insider scoop that you may not be able to find on any other website.
Beaches Turks and Caicos – What You Need to Know Before You Go

Explore Beaches Sandals Five Villages
Beaches Turks and Caicos Rooms come in all shapes and sizes.
If you didn’t know, there are five villages on the property which include: French, Seaside, Carribean, Italian, and Key West. Each village has different accommodations, pools with swim-up bars, restaurants, and it’s own island vibe.

My family and I stayed in the French Village which was very simple accommodations featuring 2 double beds, a single pull out couch, bathtub/shower, dresser, refrigerator, and microwave. We were on the first floor which allowed us to have a small patio out to the grassy area.
What you may not know is that you can visit any of the villages whenever you want. Dine at any of the restaurants in each village and also use the pools and swim-up bars.
It’s like an adventure every day!

INSIDER TIP: Butler Service is available which is perfect if you are staying in one of the bungalows or homes in the Key West Village.

21 Restaurants To Choose From
With 21 restaurants, you won’t starve and you won’t be bored with the food options at Beaches Sandals Resort.
One restaurant you must make reservations for is Kimonos. If you love hibachi, then this is the perfect dining experience for you and your family. Our chef had us singing the latest music, catching shrimp in our mouths mid-air and dining on probably one of our most delicious meals.

Food Trucks are all the rage these days and at Beaches Turks and Caicos they are on-trend. With their macaroni and cheese truck which offers every kind of mac and cheese you can think of, it did not disappoint.

Don’t forget the smoothie and ice cream truck by the water slides. A favorite with my kids between the water slides and lazy river rides.

INSIDER SCOOP: Call ahead and let them know of any food allergies.
Breakfast was one of our most important meals of the day to get us up and ready to go. Bayside in the Key West Village had a delicious breakfast buffet featuring eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruit and cheese and meats.

Our other favorite breakfast spot was Mario’s Restaurant. Grab a table outside overlooking the Italian Village. Their buffet is delicious but you can also order from the chef Eggs Benedict or eggs your way.
Sign-Up For The Kids Club
Insider tip here, sign-up the first day you get there.
Wanna know why?
Because you’ll need your children’s passports to register. So as you walk the property and get familiar, make sure you do this the first day.
We received a daily kids’ camp flyer including activities and the theme of the day.
To be honest, my kids loved it and if we hadn’t had events to attend almost every night they would have ditched us for the club.
Sigh!!
By the way, my kids were 8 and 11 years old when we went.

Hang Out At Pirates Cove
With 3 water slides, a lazy river and a baby/toddler water area, there is something for everyone at the Pirate’s Cove.

The swim-up bar for the kids was a hit as they sipped on delicious smoothies. Don’t miss the secret grotto off to the side. It’s a great place to cool off and get some shade.

Inside Scoop: Scout out the chairs under the lazy river grotto. They are in the shade most of the day and you have a view of Pirate’s Cove to keep an eye on the kids.
Watersports Are Included
Thank goodness my husband is the adventurous one and booked us on the snorkel cruise which was included.
Now just so you know, the boat ride is about 5 minutes out from the property. You can still see land, so it was perfect for our kids who were snorkeling for the first time. It’s a small reef with a few fish and coral, but still magical.

Get a Hobe Cat!
Hope that your husband can remember from his childhood how to steer a Hobe Cat. I’ll admit the wind did die down. As I tried to gain control of the situation (as mothers do), our daughter exclaimed, “Wow! It’s like when we drive to Disney. ”

Oh well! It was worth looking at that turquoise water and watching my husband turn into a kid. Wait! He’s always a kid. What would I do without him.
INSIDER SCOOP: Walk down the beach to find turtles eating seagrass. My daughter was in heaven.
Pack A Beach Bag
Don’t forget to pack that beach bag.
When you decide on what village you are going to explore, it could be a 15-minute walk back if you forget something. Pack hats, sunscreen, rashguards, sunglasses, cellphones, chargers and of course coverups.

Listen to me! Don’t try and get that base burn. The sun is strong in Turks and Caicos and you don’t want to ruin your vacation. Get a spray tan before you go to be Instagrammable.
INSIDER SCOOP: Most restaurants require you and your family to wear a cover-up or t-shirt over your swimsuit.
Book A Himalayan Salt Stone Massage
It’s not just about kids when you go to Beaches Sandals Turks and Caicos. Book your spa time and put the kids in camp.

The Red Lane Spa outside the French Village is a perfect way to have some self-care and mom time.
Experience their newest service The Himalayan Salt Stone Massage. The therapeutic treatment is a full body massage with warm Himalayan Salt Stones. A great way to relax after getting your family there.

INSIDER SCOOP: There is an added fee for this. $155 for 60 minutes and $199 for 90 minutes, but so worth it.
You’re On Island Time
Remember it’s time to slow down on this vacation.
It’s all about island time. No one is in a hurry here and you shouldn’t be either. Disconnect and reconnect with your family to make wonderful memories. Your family will be ready to go back to Beaches Sandals the minute it ends. That’s the way my family was.
