Local Mom Scoop was hosted for Brunch at Boulud Sud Miami and an overnight stay at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. All opinions are 100% my own.
Who doesn’t want to toast to the weekend?
And to keep that weekend vibe going, brunch has to be involved. I was invited to dine at Boulud Sud Miami for a taste of their wonderful brunch menu.
Chef Daniel Boulud’s Mediterranean concept, Boulud Sud, is located on the lobby level of the JW Marriott Marquis Miami.
With the newly renovated area, I found it to have a very relaxing and casual vibe. The bar and lounge area serves food from noon to happy hour and the Sunday brunch is hosted in an adjoining room.
Boulud Sud Miami is conveniently located within walking distance of American Airlines Arena, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and Brickell City Centre. It’s also a short Lyft from the Virgin Miami Central Station where I took the Brightline from West Palm Beach to Miami.

Boulud Sud Miami Brunch
A favorite among the group, this flatbread had been in my dreams from our Boulud Sud happy hour the night before. You could taste ground lamb, eggplant, and pine nuts. This dish is a must try!
We nibbled on veggies with Spicy Moroccan Hummus, Herb Falafel, and Babaganoush during our Happy Hour the day before, but this dish is also available during brunch. A delicious starter for the table.
For my breakfast dish, I ordered the MOROCCAN SHAKSHOUKA which I’ve never tried. The slow poached egg was placed delicately on a sauce of tomatoes, onions and kale sprinkled with Manouri Cheese.
GRILLED STEAK AND EGG
For that steak and eggs lovin’ person, this is the perfect breakfast dish. But has the touch of Boulud, with Churrasco, country potatoes, and a sunny side up Farm egg.
CLASSIC EGGS BENEDICT
What else can I say? It’s a classic with poached eggs, on an English Muffin, with Canadian Bacon, and Hollandaise Sauce. But the taste and flavors were perfect.
After passing around the table, there was barely anything left. I could have eaten an entire bowl of this and maybe another. With Iberico Paletta, Guanciale, and Tomato Ragù, this dish is a must try.
They had me at drizzled chocolate! For that person who has a sweet tooth.
OCTOPUS À LA PLANCHA
Another popular dish was the grilled octopus. Order one just for the table to taste. Or be greedy and have one all to yourself.
ORIGINAL Bloody Mary
For breakfast, I ordered a classic Bloody Mary. A perfect way to have brunch.
