I’ve been boating as long as I can remember. I first discovered boating with my dad. I remember trolling for hours on our boat trying to catch that perfect fish. I had to practice patience at that time, but I knew how much it meant to him when we reeled in the big catch. I remember when I tried to ski and I didn’t have the strength to pull myself up, so I sat on the back of the skis all the way around the lake. We laughed so hard and it was still fun. I remember the thrill of heading back to the dock as a storm was rolling in. The boat would hit each wave with such force as we held on to our hats.
Now, my kids want to discover boating. My kids love when their dad takes them out on the water. They love being outdoors, learning to fish, swimming in the intracoastal and of course the thrill of the boat hitting the waves while racing back to the dock. Just being on the water brings you back to the outdoors.
