THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR A LATER DATE. Stay tuned for more scoop.
I’m proud to be a member of the Junior League of Boca Raton. When I found out they were hosting the JLBR Eau-mazing Weekend at the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, I had to share the scoop.
It’s two days and nights of Eau-mazing experiences on May 20th and 21st.
There will be a welcome cocktail party at the new Breeze Ocean Kitchen restaurant, located right on the ocean is planned for all of those attending, noted Alana St. John, who along with her mother, Shanna St. John, is spearheading the fundraising weekend for all active and sustaining members of the League, as well as their friends and supporters.
“Those attending can select a la carte events they wish to experience, which will include staying at the resort one or two nights, extensive spa treatments at the amazing Eau Spa (my fave) and the special dinner,” noted Ms. St. John, “or they can choose to be Eau-verwhelmed by the gorgeous beach or the pools at the resort.”
Eva H. Hill, a humanitarian and CEO of Britannia Pacific Properties, Inc., who is responsible for the ownership and the operation at the resort, will be the guest speaker at a special dinner planned for the group, along with Catherine Warren, director of Eau Spa and Chef Manlee Siu, Chef de Cuisine of Angle, the resort’s signature restaurant.
“Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa is proud to support the Junior League of Boca Raton reported Ms. Warren, who is also a member of the League. “We are known as the resort that specializes in new-fashioned luxury and as the connoisseurs of fun, so everyone who joins us can be sure they will love every second of their stay here as they meet League members and learn more about our mission to improve the community.”
Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa was rebranded in 2013. The resort, along with Eau Spa, have recently been awarded the prestigious Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond awards. Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa are a part of Preferred Hotels and Resorts.
A humanitarian who has encouraged each of Eau’s hoteliers to get involved in the community to help others, Hill created the charitable event “Artists for Others” as an annual fundraising event at Eau Palm Beach, with proceeds benefiting child victims of sex trafficking in Cambodia, as well as Children’s Home Society, Holy Ground Shelter for Homeless and Habitat for Humanity in Palm Beach County. She previously has worked with WEAVE (Women Escaping a Violent Environment) and Sophia’s Heart (a homeless shelter for families) and is currently involved with 3 Strands Global, a non-profit organization established to combat human trafficking through employment, education and engagement initiatives.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Junior League of Boca Raton.
