With St. Patrick’s day coming (my favorite holiday) to Seas Turtle Day, there are so many family-friendly events from Palm Beach to Miami. You’ll be busy all month long.

Boca Raton Green Market

WHAT/WHO: The Boca Raton GreenMarket is a great place to bring along the family, the pups and enjoy music as you shop! It’s the 23rd year for the market!!! See you there! The Boca Raton GreenMarket will be open each Saturday until May 9, 2020.

West Palm Beach GreenMarket

Every Saturday; 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. FREE | (GreenMarket will take place weekly on Saturdays now through April 18, 2020, except for March 28, due to the Palm Beach International Boat Show) West Palm Beach Waterfront, 100 Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401
What/Who: The West Palm Beach GreenMarket features a variety of products, including fresh produce, exotic plants and flowers, herbs and spices, baked goods, gourmet and specialty foods, coffee and teas, and much more.
Features live music, unlimited mimosas for $10, free activities for kids, plus plentiful green space and seating for a morning of fun and relaxation. The GreenMarket is dog-friendly and always FREE.

EUPHORIC EMPORIUM -MIAMI

What/Who: Full Sensory Experience Coming to Downtown Miami. Over the top shipping containers have landed in Downtown Miami to create an immersive “selfie” experience with 20 interactive art installations like never before.
Enter Euphoric Emporium, your ultimate Instagram backdrop set to open Thursday, January 30, 2020 off of the Venetian Causeway on Bayshore Drive and 15th Street through March 2020.
Housed in refurbished shipping containers, each installation will offer different immersive interactive experiences, taking guests from the top of a skyscraper to inside a snow globe, and then through a room full up upside down furniture to making guests feel like a kid again in a massive “gumball” pit.
14 rooms, each featuring a different theme and experience.
When: Thursday, January 30, 2020 – March 2020.
Open Monday – Friday from 4pm – 1am, and Saturday – Sunday from 12pm-1am. Beginning at 7PM you must be 18 or older to enter.

ISLAND WATER SPORTS FREE SURF AND PADDLEBOARD LESSONS – DEERFIELD BEACH

WHAT/WHO: Island Water Sports has been providing free lessons on Deerfield Beach every Saturday morning for the past 30 years. All experience and age levels are welcome as long as you can swim. All the equipment is provided. You’re welcome to bring your own.

DinoTrain On The Brightline

WHAT/WHO: Start the adventure at a Brightline station near you with an opportunity to take pictures with a dinosaur handler before you board the Dino Train. After boarding, the dinosaur handler will guide you through fun dino-facts with an opportunity to come face to face with a real-life animatronic dinosaur!
After the museum, head back to the Brightline Fort Lauderdale station and hop on the Brightline to end your adventure. At just $35, your purchase includes round trip train ride, safari hat, goodie bag, and admission to the Museum of Discovery and Science (good for that day only).

Sea Turtle Day Festival At Gumbo Limbo

WHAT/WHO: Attend Discovery Sessions in the classroom throughout the day with nature talks and hands on activities, enjoy live music, meet environmentally focused exhibitors, take a guided tour of the Butterfly Garden, watch a play by Sol Children Theater, meet Sea Turtle Ambassador Luna, paint using recycled materials, eat delicious food from the fabulous food trucks, and more! Event entry and activities are free; food and drink available for purchase. This festival is for all ages (children under 18 must attend with an adult).
Parking is located in Spanish River Park with free shuttle service to and from event. Spanish River Park is located approximately one mile north of Gumbo Limbo Nature Center at 3001 North Ocean Boulevard. Regular parking fees apply.

Screen on the Green – West Palm Beach

WHAT/WHO: Ugly Dolls (PG) Outdoor movie watching has never been more inviting than on the West Palm Beach Waterfront on our brand-new giant LED screen. Monthly, on the second Friday of the month, the City of West Palm Beach turns the Great Lawn into an open-air theater – movie and included views of the stars and sea are both FREE.
Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and snuggle up for featured films – including newly released hits and throwback favorites. After hours, please call 561-822-2222 for information on event cancellations.

Delray Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade

WHAT/WHO: The annual Delray Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade, presented by the City of Delray Beach, is a tradition that began in 1968 with a local Irishmen and pub owner named Maury Power. Maury took what would later be regarded as a legendary stroll down Atlantic Avenue with his Shillelagh and a green pig; he declared it his ‘own parade.’ Well, over the years, the parade has grown into what it is today, the greatest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in South Florida.
