Do you love one stop shopping? I do!
Wouldn’t it be great to find a place where you could shop for a dress, fresh fruit and veggies, repair a watch, get your nails done, buy luggage for a trip and so on. The Festival Flea Market has it all.
I was delighted when I was invited to take a tour of the Festival Flea Market in Pompano Beach, Florida. They were gracious enough to give me $100 plus special coupons to help me shop for outfits for the July 4th weekend.
This was going to be a shopping adventure and I was ready for the challenge. Get the shopping scoop on what I saw and the three outfits I decided on.
Festival Flea Market Is One Stop Shopping For July 4th
It’s the 25th Anniversary this year for the Festival Flea Market. How come it’s taking me so long to get here? They are open Monday-Friday from 9:30am-5:00pm and Saturday & Sunday 9:30am-6:00pm. Customers can shop and enjoy have 300 merchants selling everything you could think of.
When my shopping journey first started, I spotted this crochet top maxi dress. I took a photo, so I would remember to go back to it. This could be a potential pick.
As strolled down booth after booth, I found these fun swim trunks for my husband that were definitely July 4th inspired. But for once it was about me, so I had to stay focused and keep searching for the perfect pieces for my July 4th weekend.
When I saw this booth, I was jumping up and down like my 8 year old daughter. I hope no one saw me. This booth was a great place for travel stuff or filling that treasure box for my kids. Rewards for summer chores is my mantra!
Did I buy a Chanel bag? No! But when I heard they had a designer handbag section down at the Hillsboro Antique Mall (which is located at the end of the Festival Flea Market), I raced down to see what designers they carried. There was so much to look at. I knew I would have to make a special trip back just for this section.
I passed this salon and spa when I was doing my LIVE FACEBOOK video. You could have a massage, get a pedicure and they have hair care products that you would find in many salons, but at a better price. I wish I had more time, so I added this place on my To Do List for next time.
Maybe a little tie-dyed for July 4th? This gauze top was airy and comfy. You could wear it off or on the shoulder. I think you can see the white and blue theme happening. I didn’t have as much luck finding something in red. Hmmm! Not sure though.
Here Are My The 3 Items I Can Wear For July 4th Weekend
This was such a fun afternoon shopping just for myself and honestly without my kids. I feel like I found some great items that I can wear all year round in South Florida.
My first find was this colorful strapless maxi dress and at 50% off at Nina’s Booth who couldn’t resist. It ended up costing around $30 and with a spray tan, it will get me through the summer for sure. On Saturday night, I plan on wearing for dinner and drinks with friends.
When I got home, I paired the maxi dress back with a fun chunky necklace I had and a pair of funky sandals from my closet. I can also wear this dress with a pair of flip flops. The great thing is it’s totally packable and easy to wash.
2. White Top
I’ve been searching for a cute designer looking white top that didn’t make me look too blousy. When I found this white linen top with ruffled sleeves at the Forever Young Ladies Fashion Booth #2031, I was super excited.
On Sunday, I plan on wearing it to a picnic. I paired my white linen top back with a denim skirt from my closet. I may also wear it with my navy mini shorts. A fun pair of sandals and a great necklace finish this cute look. It was around $59.99, but it’s a classic that I can wear even with my skinny jeans.
3. Beach Cover-Up
Lastly, I purchased this gauzey turquoise and white striped maxi dress I found at Lenny’s Swimwear, Booth #6209. It was $29.99 plus I used my FestiValue Dollars. I can use each FestiValue dollar to save $1 on every $5 purchase. There is an information booth located near the East entrance and another one located near the West entrance of the mall. http://festival.com/specials-coupons is the link to get a voucher to use.
For Monday, July 4th, I plan on wearing this to a pool party. I found my gold cuff bracelet and a pair of wedge sandals to dress it up. I can always pair it back with sandals. What I love about this dress, you can criss-cross the neck line for a halter style or wear it as a tank dress.
I had such a great time shopping at the Festival Flea Market. I need to take another trip back, because there was still so much to see. With over 300 merchants clothing, shoes, salon, medical scrubs, furniture, artwork, personalized items (embroidery, photo transfer, alterations, shoe repair, engraving, massage, teeth whitening, etc), produce market, jewelry (fine and costume, buy and sell gold), cosmetics, fragrance, sunglasses, swimsuits…etc., it’s no wonder why the Festival Flea Market is your one stop shopping.
