Jingle All the Way Holiday Tree Lighting Friday

Boca Center, Crocker Partners, Junior League of Boca Raton and Spirit of Giving invite you to this year’s Jingle All the Way Holiday Tree Lighting celebration at Boca Center Courtyard Friday, Nov. 15 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Enjoy live entertainment, kids activities and a special photo opportunity with Santa himself!

Boca Raton Tree Lighting

The event will include free carnival rides, an artificial ice rink, holiday bounce houses, Santa’s Circus variety show, Carolers, stilt walkers, aerial performances, letters to Santa station, photos with Santa ($5 each), carnival food for purchase, and more!
The ceremonial lighting of the City’s tree led by Mayor Scott Singer that will illuminate simultaneously with Mizner Park’s tree at the south end of the center near Lord & Taylor and followed by a spectacular fireworks display above the amphitheater.

The 43rd Annual Boca Raton Holiday Boat Parade is the perfect way to experience the Holiday season! Enjoy the parade, food, and drinks from Red Reef Park (west), the Wildflower Property, or Silver Palm Park viewing areas.
Bridges are held in the up position for approximately 45 minutes during the parade. Please avoid these areas during estimated closing times to avoid traffic delays. The estimated bridge closing times are:•

20th Annual Downtown Delray Beach Thanksgiving Weekend Art Festival
Nov 30 – Dec 1
This annual juried art festival of hand-crafted artwork including glass, photography, painting, mixed media, fiber, jewelry and much more, hosts hundreds of artists exhibiting and selling their work in an outdoor gallery. The show starts at the entrance of E Atlantic Ave and NE 4th Ave in the heart of downtown. The show will proceed north on NE 4th Ave for two full blocks. The show then heads east on NE 2nd St to SE 5th Ave.

About the 100ft. Christmas Tree:
One of the best trees in the USA – For 26 years, Delray residents and visitors alike have marveled at our Famous 100 Ft Christmas Tree.
The Tree is open every day from the Tree Lighting on December 5th through January 1st from 10am-9pm. Visitors can walk through the 100ft. Christmas Tree and see the different scenes that include, a reindeer barn, Santa’s Workshop, ‘Twas the Night before Christmas house and the kid’s favorite, the Train House!
Boynton Beach & Delray Beach Annual Holiday Boat Parade

The Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency and the City of Delray Beach invite you to celebrate the holiday season Florida style, as a flotilla of brightly-decorated boats light-up the Intracoastal Waterways for the annual Holiday Boat Parade.
This holiday illumination show can be viewed from Veterans Park and Knowles Park and along the parade course.
Watch party at the Boynton Harbor Marina starts at 6:00 PM.

Worth Avenue Christmas Tree Lighting

Led by Santa Claus, his elves, and entertainers, The Worth Avenue Association and Palm Beach Mayor, Gail Coniglio, welcome the holiday season with an annual parade that concludes with the signature, spectacular Christmas Tree Lighting Event, signifying the unofficial start of Palm Beach’s magical shopping season.
The parade begins at 6pm, with the flip of the switch that lights the magnificent 40-foot tree happening at 6:29pm.

Christmas On Las Olas
Tuesday, December 3 from 5-10 p.m.
The 57th annual event will transform Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas Blvd. (between SE 6th Ave. and SE 11th Ave.) into a magical winter wonderland for both locals and visitors.
Highlights include 30 performances on four stages, Snow Mountain (with real snow!), ice skating, photos with Santa, a holiday-themed bounce house and more. A lighted menorah will also mark the Hanukkah celebration. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
Following are some of the highlights of this year’s event:
- Holiday favorite Snow Mountain, featuringa70-ft. sled ride down REAL snow,will be located on Las Olas and SE 9th Ave.
- Back by popular demand is Skate Las Olas for one magical night, located directly across from Snow Mountain.
- The ever popular children’s fun zone will return with an expanded children’s area, One Beat CPR’s Enchanted Village, located at 788 E. Las Olas. Attendees can make memories by taking photos with Santa, and enjoying a winter-themed bounce house and free holiday activities while learning the value of life-saving CPR.
- Adding to the spirit of the season, Bacardi, Grey Goose, Bombay Sapphire, Josh Cellars, and Funky Buddha will be serving libations up and down the Boulevard, with proceeds benefiting the event’s chosen charities.
- iHeart Radio radio personalities from BIG 105.9, Y100, 93.9MIA will be located at the three large performance stages, and offer free giveaways throughout the evening.
- Extended hours make it easy to shop at the 100 local retailers, restaurants and art galleries. An eclectic array of 70 food vendors will offer holiday treats.

Noon Year’s Eve Countdown
Tuesday, December 31st from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium (SFSCA) in partnership with Casey Cares Foundation will be the hottest destination in town on Tuesday, December 31st from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. when all kids are encouraged to wear their favorite pair of pajamas while they bring along a new pair of PJs to donate to Casey Cares.
The “Noon Year’s Eve Countdown to 2020” event will feature live science demonstrations, music, dancing, face painting, do-it-yourself party poppers and more. No need for your little ones to stay up until midnight. Instead, toast the New Year at the stroke of noon with dry-ice apple cider and bubble explosions for the whole family. Activities are included with Science Center admission with a small additional fee for some. Food will be available for purchase at the WT Café. This event is made possible with additional support from the Cultural Council of the Palm Beaches, Discover The Palm Beaches and Palm Beach County government.
Inspired in memory of a Casey Cares child, the pajama collection drive at the SFSCA is part of the Kami’s Jammies program, which provides children with some extra comfort. Kamryn was a frequent, overnight hospital patient who bravely battled leukemia. She felt special when she wore a new pair of pajamas in place of hospital gowns. For Kami, who had a flair for fashion, passing this symbol of joy and normalcy onto other critically ill children is her legacy.

16th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony with Santa’s Arrival
Thursday, November 21, at 6 p.m.
One of the largest tree lighting ceremonies and holiday celebrations in South Florida, the event will include the 50’ tree-lighting, live entertainment, interactive activities, retailer pop-up stations and the highly anticipated appearance by Santa Claus.
The popular event is centered around a majestic 50-foot tree adorned with 55,000 colorful twinkling bulbs. Shops at Merrick Park will transform into a winter wonderland with live performances by the Miami Royal Ballet, Coral Gables High School Choir & Band and Miami Senior High School Marching Band plus greetings from holiday characters, giveaways and more. Shops at Merrick Park retailers will pop-up throughout the garden with special promotions and gifts.
One of the event highlights is Santa’s grand arrival down San Lorenzo Avenue on the Coral Gables Fire Department’s fire truck. Master of Ceremonies Belkys Nerey, award-winning co-anchor of WSVN Channel 7 News, Coral Gables Mayor Raúl Valdés-Fauli andNicklaus Children’s Health System Interim President and CEO Matthew Love,will flip the magical switch to illuminate the tree, signaling the official start of the holiday shopping season. Shoppers can view and pose with the holiday tree through early January 2020.

Tri-Rail’s Winter Wonderland
Saturday, December 14, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The free, family-friendly event will feature 20 tons of snow, bounce houses, food trucks, face painting, cookie decorating, a coloring station, holiday carolers and a Broadway Across America ticket raffle.
Event-goers are encouraged to ride the train to the event. Tickets are $5 to ride Tri-Rail for the entire day or $2.50 for students, seniors, and persons with disabilities who have a registered discount EASY Card. Kids under 5 years ride for free.
