I’ll be honest, I’m not much of a gambler. I’m terrible at cards and I don’t understand slots. But, I do love to dine out and have some delicious adult beverages when I can.
Recently, I was invited along with a group of bloggers and media to experience the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek for food, drink and fun.
The Seminole Casino Coconut Creek offers slots, table games poker and more. But it’s the fine dining options that you may not know about.
Can you say signature cocktail please?
While chatting about blogging, food and motherhood, the group sipped on The Maximus Signature Cocktail. Made with Nolet’s Private Reserve, Grey Goose VX, Grand Marnier 100 Spray, Lillet Blanc and garnished with 23k good leaf. This sipping drink made me feel like royalty!
First stop was Fresh Harvest. This variety kitchen offers a buffet style atmosphere featuring a delicious array of desserts, sushi, carving stations and more. Seated in the main dining area, the chef prepared and presented an Ahi Poke Poke bite with tuna Gyoza skin and avocado.
It melted in your mouth and wanting more!
This braised pork wing was falling off the bone the minute my fork touched it. The Peruvian purple potato and celery root puree complimented the sauteed cherry tomatoes. Colorful touch!
The next stop on our food journey was Sorrisi! This fine dining restaurant offers authentic Italian cuisine, fine wines and hand-crafted, herb-infused cocktails.
Get up close an personal with the Head Chef while dining at the Chef’s Table which holds seating for 12.
If you want a more private scene, you can dine in the Chianti Private Dining Room which I had the pleasure of experiencing. Sorrisi also has a semi-private dining room which can accommodate 14 of your party guests. I’m already thinking about my birthday party which is right around the corner.
Hmmm!!! I can think of 12-14 friends to celebrate with.
I’m still dreaming of Lobster Ravioli and Grilled Romaine.
I admit I’m not a huge baseball fan, but NYY Steak hands down blows any ball park out of the water. Known for their USDA Prime steaks, they are dry-aged in their in-house butcher shop which you witness before entering the restaurant. (You can pick up steaks to go as well).
Keep your eye out for the signature touches like autographs from famous players and the baseball diamond-shaped dishes.
NYY Steak doesn’t mess around when it comes to presentation. Hanging bacon (seen below) and a fabulous Flambe presentation were show stoppers during the dining experience. See the Flambe on my Instagram.
We started the meal with the Osetra Caviar Service which is a traditional service offered with the egg, red onion, creme fraiche, and chives.
The Prime Dry-Aged New York Strip with Creamed Spinach was paired with Crossbarn by Paul Hobbs, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2013. Decadent!
The NYY Signature Thick Cut Bacon was house cured and smoked Kurobuta pork belly delicately dangled over a sweet cornbread.
The Truffle Mac n’ Cheese was…well to die for!
NYY Steak has also been voted Best North Broward Restaurant in SouthFlorida.com’s Best of South Florida.
The group was whisked away to level2 which is a non-smoking area that features over 100 Las Vegas-style slots, and live blackjack. We sipped Brandy Alexanders while tasting the assorted dessert display that would make any sweet tooth lose their mind.
For my next date night or special event, I’ll be planning a trip to the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. With all of the delicious dining options, you can find something that will make anyone in your party happy.

This is what happens behind the scenes at a blogger dinner.
