I think it’s important to get back to nature. It calms the senses and brings about mindfulness. But that’s not always easy to do.
Thank goodness for the Animal Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World. It has always captivated my family and their love of nature. From the Expedition Everest to the Kilimanjaro Safari, the daytime attractions have something to offer everyone.
But what happens to the park at night?
The Animal Kingdom comes alive with the new Rivers of Light.
During the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, my family and I were invited to see a sneak peek at new Animal Kingdom Rivers of Light Nighttime Spectacular show which debuts on February 17.
Spoiler: You can click here to see the Rivers of Light show.
Rivers of Light Show
The lagoon is the setting of this gorgeous show which uses water to project colors, lights, and images. Boats, floating flowers, tigers, turtles and more glide across the water with ethereal music playing. It’s an amazing way to unwind after a fabulous day at the park.
The show is about 15 minutes, so make sure you check the times on your Disney Experience app and make it part of your itinerary.
