My kids and I love ice cream, especially when it’s 85 degrees in South Florida during December.
Local Mom Scoop and Local Kid Scoop were invited to taste Sloan’s Delray new holiday treats: Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
Sloan’s Delray is not your ordinary ice cream shop. It does feature homemade ice cream, candies and chocolates. You can smell the freshly baked waffle cones, cookies and brownies when you walk through the sliding doors.
It’s truly irresistible!
But it’s Sloan’s décor which is over the top. It’s pink walls, twinkling chandeliers and moving trains have you mesmerized as you walk through the sliding doors.
The magical glass bathroom was a hit as well. Local Kid Scoop had a few dance parties in there, but that’s not what made it magical. (You’ll have to go to Sloan’s to find out. I’ll give you a hint: make sure you lock the door.)
Local Kid Scoop couldn’t wait to get inside and try one of the new Holiday Treats. I wonder which one they chose.
Of course! They chose Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer with Chocolate.
Now it’s time to shop!
Not only can you get delicious ice cream at Sloan’s, but you can go find some of the hottest toys like Shopkins and Frozen merchandise.
There are so many stuffed animals to choose from.
Owner, David Olmo, let me have a special Local Mom Scoop Treat. I still had to share!
Thank you to Sloan’s in Delray Beach for a great after school treat and for getting us in the holiday spirit.
Sloan’s considers itself an ice cream wonderland for the young and young at heart.
We were truly swept away!
