When you go to eat with the kids, are you always hoping the restaurant will have a kids menu?
Now Henry’s Sandwich Station located in FATVillage Arts District of Fort Lauderdale, FL has just that. Their kid’s menu may be small, but it’s mighty in taste.
Henry’s Sandwich Station focuses on small batch, Artisanal Purveyors and House Smoked and Cured Meats. All the bread served on site is prepared by local bakeries. Their Signature Sandwiches range from Montreal Style Smoked Meat on Zak The Baker Jewish Rye to Slow Roasted Prime Rib, served with our Housemade Horseradish Cream great for the parents. But what about the kids?
My family was hosted for lunch after a fun morning on the beach in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea.

JUNIOR CRISPY CHICKEN
This crispy and juicy chicken breast is served on a soft brioche bun. You may need a knife to cut this in half for little mouths.
This classic grilled cheese sandwich is served with yellow American cheese on buttery toasted white bread. My daughter ordered the TOMATO BISQUE served with grilled bread to dip her sandwich.
NOW FOR THE ADULTS, BUT IT’S OKAY TO SHARE…
Talk about a sandwich! This signature is served with thick cut nueske bacon, avocado, arugula, beefsteak tomato, truffle mayo on toasted artisan country bread.
My husband ordered this delicious Cuban sandwich featuring heritage pork shoulder, sweetheart ham, swiss, sweet & spicy pickles, dijonnaise on a pressed baguette.
SALT & VINEGAR FRENCH FRIES
We ordered from the FRENCH FRY BAR the salt and vinegar fries. A dash of sea salt and malt vinegar gave this a kick and the garlic aioli was perfect for dipping. Enough to share!
CRAFT BEER AND SODAS
Henry’s Sandwich Station features a fridge of craft sodas and rotating beers that go great with any of the menu items. This Indian Pale Ale was thirst quenching for the adults.
It was great to see so many families dining. Sit outside with the garage style doors are lifted and listen for the sounds of the trains go by. A fun casual atmosphere the whole family will enjoy.
